YOUR CHILDREN’S MEAL WITH FREE TOYS.

The agenda behind some fast food restaurants offering free toys to children is to hook them at an early age on this very unhealthy food, so that they will become life-long consumers. Most of their food contains a massive amount of sugar and salt. Due mainly to sugar triggering the release of the neurotransmitter serotonin, the food causes a mood-boosting drug addiction-like effect. It overloads the pleasure zones of the brain and triggers a need for more of the same.

Furthermore, the sugar used is in the highly-unhealthy and worst-possible form of High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS). These foods also contain a huge amount of bad fats and preservatives, in order to give them a long shelf life and the appearance of being fresh, when in reality they aren’t. Simply put, fast foods hardly rot like real food is supposed to do.

THE FOODS AND THE CONSEQUENCES.

Chicken nuggets are only 50% actual chicken; the other half consists of fillers, additives, preservatives and other synthetic ingredients. Hamburger patties are much the same. What little meat they do contain comes from cows that were fed GMO corn and pumped with growth hormones and antibiotics. These antibiotics and resulting antibiotic-resistant bacteria are passed onto you when you consume these meats. This, will put you at risk if you require antibiotics to fight off a bacterial infection. It will also cause havoc with your gut’s healthy bacterial flora, which your immune system depends on.

Rib sandwiches are made from the restructuring of the pig’s internal organs and cast-offs. They also contains a toxic chemical called azodicarbonamide, which has several short-term effects but even more serious ones that cause hormone disruption, neurological disorders, and even cancer.

Fries are indeed made from potatoes but are deep-fried in unhealthy trans fats derived from partially-hydrogenated vegetable oils. They also contain toxic ingredients like the synthetic antioxidant TBHQ,

anti-foaming agents, colour stabilizers and preservatives.

Even the “Healthy foods” selection of some fast food restaurants is questionable, and may be more harmful than their fries and hamburgers due to an even greater amounts of sodium, sugar and bad fats.

Food consumed long enough at fast food restaurants will make you prone to obesity, type-2 diabetes, and heart disease.

Fast food production has a negative impact on the environment, and the animals used are subject to abuse and are killed in cruel and excruciating ways.

People consume these foods because they are very cheap, fast, convenient and hardly perish. But is the low price worth it when down the road you may end up suffering from a chronic degenerative illness that may require an expensive surgery? What about the repercussions of this highly questionable food on your children’s health and developing bodies? Instead, why not give them a diet high in unprocessed, whole, fresh, organic and health-promoting foods? They will thank you one day.

Approximately 10 countries have banned one of the major fast food restaurants so far and there is hope that this trend will continue.

THE DESIGN.

Much goes into the design of fast food restaurants including the colours, layout, lighting and even the furniture itself. They are designed to work on your subconscious mind (especially the one of a child) to get you in, stimulate your senses, get your money and get you out as soon as possible.

There is a hidden meaning behind the instantly recognizable golden arches of one of the major fast food restaurants – one that goes beyond just looking like a giant stylized ‘M’. This logo was created by designer Louis Cheskin who was a fan of the teachings of Sigmund Freud. The shape of these arches has a Freudian double-meaning. On a subconscious level, they remind us of big breasts. This cloaked maternal imagery and associated feeling of comfort that comes from past days of nursing, encourages people to eat there.
